Supportive housing services
Are you worried about how to manage after a shelter period? We help you.
Supportive housing services provide rehabilitative, supported and safe accommodation after a shelter period. Services are for women with immigrant background, and to their children.
The apartments are located in the Helsinki metropolitan area. The duration of our services and accommodation are from 6 to 24 months.
Supportive housing services are part of the services of Crisis Center Monika.
Do you need help?
Are you in a shelter? Are you worried about how you manage after leaving the shelter? You can ask from the shelter staff about a possibility to live in an apartment of our supportive housing services.
Apartments of supportive housing services are normal apartments in the Capital Region.
The purpose of supportive housing is to practice independent life. In case of need, you can meet with a worker, who can advise you, for instance with issues linked to crimes, residence permit, family, and finance.
Our worker can come and meet you at the apartment, or you can go together and take care of your things. In case you want, you can also talk to a worker of Crisis Center Monika.
You can rent the apartment for maximum 2 years.
